surprisingly good stay
polite staff clean bedroom great base
The hotel staff were very polite and helpful. I found this nice. the bedroom was nice and neat. the location was relaxing and a great base to adventure from to the villages of the lakes. It was ideal. i feel it would suit many who wanted a base to go walking or use the water sports.
the bar was closed during lunch, inconvenient. it made it harder to grab a quick bite before exploring.

I found the location to be convenient. It was near the train station. the room had available tea and coffee facilities, which i certainly used. the cleanliness of the room was satisfactory, and the availability of on-site parking significantly simplified my travel. the staff were lovely.
I noticed some slight wear and tear in the room. It could benefit from minor cosmetic updates.

convenient location short walk friendly staff filthy carpets understaffed hotel musty smell
the hotel location was convenient. it was a short walk to several shops. The staff was friendly and helpful. I liked being close to transport links.
the cleanliness was not great. i found the carpets needed replacing. The hotel seemed understaffed. it took a long time to get assistance at reception. There was a musty smell in the hallways and room.

staff were lovely and the location was excellent across from the train station, very handy
the room had a slight odour. the bedside cabinet had a terrible musty smell. it was really off-putting and made it difficult to relax, curtains also had mold.

The location is excellent for using public transportation. Staff members were cooperative and friendly. Breakfast offered a good selection of items.

Solid stay near the lakes
convenient location easy access pet friendly good restaurants
The hotel's location is very convenient, being a short walk from the bus station. This made it easy to access various areas in the lakes without my car. I found good bars and restaurants nearby too. I had no issues at ALL bringing my pet to this hotel, a big plus.
the carpet in the reception area looked quite dark.
